Resilience Training
FOR TEAMS AND SMALL GROUPS
New coping mechanisms for you
You are under a lot of pressure both in your professional as well as in your personal life. During some phases in life demands placed on you are high and to make matters worse you could simultaneously be faced with illness. As a result, you begin to feel overwhelmed and become less efficient. In such situations, people tend to fall back to familiar behavioural patterns, but realize that those are becoming less and less effective. Under stress, your body only has limited capabilities to cope with the situation and you are entering a downward spiral.
If you have noticed this pattern in your own behaviour or you would like to work preventively, I invite you to participate in my resilience training. Then, you will be ready to face all kinds of challenging circumstances in life, you will be stronger and have more options to help yourself. Challenges will turn into chances for personal growth and development.
„You have to live in the present, launch yourself on every wave and find your eternity in each moment.“
Henry David Thoreau
Resilience training – approach
In my trainings, I work interactively and convey essential knowledge combined with exercises on the most important resilience factors such as optimism or flexible, goal-oriented thinking. I combine experience-oriented and body-oriented approaches with mental training and the latest results from brain research and positive psychology. Those have shown that people learn best if they simultaneously feel positive emotions and when they interact with others. In addition, research has revealed that neuroplastic changes in the brain occur after regular and repeated practicing in a supportive environment.
You will have the opportunity to deal with your strategies and strengths as well as your areas of personal development. You also benefit from exchanging experiences with others in the group. Because it is so essential to experience lingering in the moment in order to improve your self-management skills, we practice mindfulness and short meditations. They will be cornerstones in helping you develop new behavioural patterns. All exercises take place indoors as well as outdoors (in a natural environment), because nature has a very calming effect, stimulates our senses and helps to centre individuals.
